Welcome to Custom Home Design

Our process, like our homes, is tailored to your unique needs. The graphic below allows you to see how dramatically our customized floor plans can change, based on the requests and lifestyles of the clients who live in each home.

Our most popular floor plan, The Masco House, was introduced at the Atlanta Home Builder's Show in 1990. As shown below, we've since created hundreds of variations of this popular plan, each specifically suited to meet the needs of the homeowner.

This international client requested the Masco design modified with a raised seam roof. We also incorporated a double grand staircase and a finished walk-out lower level.

This client preferred an expanded floor plan and a Country French style exterior that utilized brick and stone. They also wanted to replace the three arches at the front of the house with a large covered entry for guests.

This client reduced the original floorplan to 4000 sq. ft. with an angled garage, siding and shutters. The client requested a very traditional exterior based on the popular style of the region in which the home was built.

This client wanted an expanded Masco floor plan that incorporated the elevation of another Scholz Design home (The Alcazar F52) featuring a formal French style with cut stone. The customized plan includes a courtyard, as well as his-and-hers garages.
